Daniel J. O'Connell
Attorney Daniel J. O’Connell is the managing partner of O’Connell & Plumb, P.C. He graduated cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Boston University Law School in 1987.
Attorney O’Connell is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the United States Court of Appeals, the First Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Hampden County Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
He has published articles in professional journals on bank lender liability, employment law and labor law. He has further lectured on trial practice for continuing legal education courses in Massachusetts. Attorney O’Connell served previously as a member of the litigation department for the Boston law firm of Riemer & Braunstein and the Springfield firm of Bacon & Wilson, P.C. He has extensive trial experience and has obtained many favorable verdicts and settlements on his client’s behalf. For example, in a recent employment discrimination case, he obtained a $1.4 million jury verdict for his client.
Attorney O'Connell has been selected twice for inclusion in the New England Super Lawyers magazine in the area of Plaintiff's Employment Litigation. He has also received the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award in 2015.

Jerry B. Plumb, Jr.
Jerry B. Plumb, Jr. is one of the founding partners of O’Connell & Plumb, P.C. He graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 1983 and received his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in 1986.

He is a member of the Hampden County and Massachusetts Bar Associations and is a certified Title Agent with Chicago Title Company and CATIC.
He concentrates his practice in secured transactions and commercial loan work for both lenders and borrowers, work-outs, restructurings, corporate law, including business purchase and sales, commercial litigation, contracts, commercial and residential real estate transactions and bankruptcy law.
Sarah A. Ornelas
Sarah A. Ornelas graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock, California. She graduated in three years with a BS in Business Management with a concentration in International Business, and received the title of Management Student of the Year.
Attorney Ornelas attended law school at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated cum laude in May 2007. While in law school Attorney Ornelas participated and organized a service trip to New Orleans, LA to assist indigent criminal defendants after hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. After she returned from this service trip, she was profiled for her commitment to the community on the Suffolk University webpage. Attorney Ornelas was also a member of the Suffolk Defenders Clinical Program where she provided free representation to indigent criminal defendants in the Suffolk County District Court.
